Mask — Signification du Rêve

Objets du Quotidien · interprétation du symbole onirique

L'interprétation complète est en anglais.

Interprétation

The mask is the persona made object — the face shown that is not the face. Masquerades permit what bare faces cannot; but the mask that cannot be removed is the persona fused to the skin. Dream-masks ask: who is hiding, and can they stop?

Résonance Positive

The useful persona, protected expression, play of identity

Aspect Ombre

The mask fused on, identity lost behind performance, others' masks concealing intent

Nuances

• Cannot remove mask: persona fused to self
• Masked stranger: intent concealed
• Choosing a mask: selecting the presented self
• Mask falling off: the real revealed
• Room of masked figures: society's concealments
